Swami Vivekanandji Birth:

Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Calcutta. His father's name was Vishwanath Dutt and mother's name was Bhubaneswarvi Devi. Before attaining Sanyas, his name was Narendranath Dutt and was also known as Naren.

Swami Vivekanandji Life:

Swami Vivekananda, in the form of young ascetic, who had scattered the essence of Indian culture abroad, was a great scholar of philosophy and history. Swami Vivekananda has shown a new path to the younger world by composing such texts such as 'Yoga', 'Rajyog' and 'Gyan Yog', whose effect will shine on the masses for ages and ages. His memorial built in Kanyakumari also tells the story of greatness of Swami Vivekananda.

Swami Vivekanandji Death:

Swami Vivekananda, who raised the flag of Indian spirituality around the world, was suffering from 31 diseases. One of them was suffering from sleepiness. Perhaps this is the reason that this scholar died only at the age of 39. His follower Shankar also disclosed why Swami Vivekananda cut down his travels to Egypt to return to India. Actually Vivekananda had announced in Egypt that he would be dead on July 4. He said that at the time of his death, he would like to live near his Gurubhai in India.

Swami Vivekananda had interpreted ‘Shukla-Yajurveda’ (शुक्ल-यजुर्वेद ) among his disciples in the last days of his life and said, "To understand what this Vivekananda has done so far, we should have another Vivekananda." According to his disciples, on the last day of life on 4th July 1902, he did not change his daily routine, and meditated for two to three hours and while meditating he dissected his Brahmarandhra (ब्रह्मरन्ध्र) and took Mahasamadhi.
